About Bridger Kimball

Named for a plucky mountain man and explorer, George “Bridger” Kimball was born in Mesa, Arizona. He spent the first years of his life absorbing the hardscrabble devotion and commitment necessary to run a horse ranch in the far East Valley.

His parents—a law enforcement officer and dental hygienist—instilled in him a blue collar, community-first mentality. From his now-legendary Mountain Pointe High School football coach, Bridger, a varsity running back, learned the true meaning and significance of teamwork and self-sacrifice.

After graduating with honors, and following a family tradition (his grandfather was a fighter and test pilot killed in action, and three uncles served in our armed forces during WWII and Korea), Bridger enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. His stint as a U.S. Marine only deepened and honed his devotion and allegiance to country, family, and community. A potential career Marine, Bridger’s military service ended early and abruptly when the Corps medically discharged him. Multiple surgeries could not fully repair non-combat injuries he sustained serving as an infantry squad machine gunner. Although the Corps did not want to lose him and placed him in alternate occupational specialties of small arms instructor and Legal Chief in the regimental office at Camp Pendleton, California, his injuries were beyond the high physical tolerances required of every Marine. They prevented him from continuing his military career.

Almost immediately after honorable medical discharge, Bridger entered the world of retail sales and management. Starting as a stock boy at a Mesa indoor shooting range and gun store, it did not take long for the store’s owner to recognize Bridger’s innate leadership abilities and exceptional organizational skills. He rapidly earned his way up the management chain and today retains the position of President of the company. Within a year of becoming GM, Bridger took this store from the brink of obscurity to what it is today: a multi-million dollar retail and training operation. Under Bridger’s direction and guidance Caswell’s (d.b.a. Rangemasters, Inc./Urban Firearms Institute) is internationally acclaimed and is Arizona’s premier indoor shooting range, firearms store, and the largest firearms training academy in the state.

In 2003, Bridger found “his community” in Maricopa, Arizona. After careful study and countless hours of research Bridger bought and moved into his first “starter home” in Maricopa. Hence, he became one of the first to risk significant financial investment and commitment in what was at the time still a fledgling dream for a city of the future.

Since then he has grown and prospered with the community. Today he lives in his dream home in his dream community. In September of 2010 Bridger was appointed to the Maricopa Planning and Zoning Commission where he strives to make decisions for positive development and growth for the city. Still, for Bridger, it is not enough. Energetic, articulate, thoughtful and bursting with foresight, Bridger has a vision for building a better, more prosperous and thriving future for Maricopa today. This he cannot do alone. He needs your help as his community partners. He wants to hear from and engage you then become your voice on the Maricopa City Council. Bridger is not a politician and never will be. Still, he can be your conservative representative for positive development, economic growth and small business sustainability in a town we have all grown to love.
